Since my last post was so sad, I thought I'd lightened up the mood here at Pretty is as Pretty Does.
Did you know that I have 44 days left of school this semester? That right there brings utter joy and delight to my soul. Yay!
What's even better? It's only 82 days left until Christmas! Woo hoo! I say, start the Christmas music now! (you don't necessarily have to put up Christmas lights/decorations yet though. We don't want to be all W.T.!!!!).
Merry Christmas! (oh wait- it may be too early for that too.)

noooo! the gym near us has put up a giant blowup santa. joey: it's christmas time! me: no, it's not!
Ya, screw Thanksgiving. That holiday sucks. God doesn't even like to be thanked. He told me.
Just give us the gifts God and don't stop. We will be over here taking them for granted.
hmmm. do i sense a little annoyance in your voice?
I'm not saying I love Christmas because of the gifts, you...you...husband who I love. I just love the season, which, by the way, starts at Thanksgiving in my book.
Me too! Thanksgiving is my favorite though! I have an awful lot to be thankful for. Yes Joey, it's Christmas time!
you all are totally ignoring the real holiday getting neglected: halloween!
Boooo! There. Celebrated. Over.
Wait Mama J! You forgot Trick or Treat! Ok. NOW it's over.
Bring out the carols! The jingle bells! The "Elvis Sings the Wonderful World of Christmas" cd! It's time to celebrate!
I just love Elvis's voice on that cd when he starts in with "O Come all ye Faithful". Gives me the Christmas chills everytime!
Reminds me of those Christmases in Indiana. Oh, the days of yore. No mas, bugg, no mas.
kristi,
i'm glad you are feeling the spirit, but i'm here to stand up for the Turkey...his holiday has basically fallen off the map, so i'm here to tell you and everyone else. That we need to bring back thanksgiving in FORCE!!!!
We can't celebrate Christmas or New Years without first being thankful for this year...
besides if we didn't have thanksgiving, there would be no after thanksgiving sales!
