I read about and watched the video of this girl who is 12 but frozen in a 6 month old body. Very interesting...and the medical professionals are perplexed!

People are like stained glass windows: they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light within. ~Elizabeth Kubler-Ross ~

The article made Nate cry when the dad said
Brooke was his angel. I can't imagine not knowing whats wrong with your baby. Parents who go through anything remotely close to this our amazing. I guess you just have to trust God to give you the strength.
I couldn't even imagine having a child with those kind of abnormalities. I was so sad.
I also read a story today that my classmate was telling me about. On TLC, they had a show called "Born Without a Face" and it was all about Treacher Collins Syndrome. I just don't know what to think. It makes me double think about having kids in the first place, especially knowing what all can go wrong. But, then I remember that God would never give me more than I could handle.
Ya, but I am pretty sure you can handle quite a bit, so, maybe it is a good idea to re-think the whole kids thing. I'm just saying.
