Let's see...

God never gives us more than we can handle, right?

Well how do I let him know that he's given me enough already?!?

He knows us better than we know ourselves. If we trust in his complete right-eousness, we can know we are in good hands. I think that you have so given your desire for your vocation to Him, and you are in such partnership with Him in your nurses training, that He has added a few courses that VC doesn't include in their line up. Compassion 101. Advanced Empathy. Strength 1A. Applied Tenderness and Understanding. These are things that can only be learned through life experiences. No classroom can really teach them.
Randy and I are praying for you. Uncle Scott says Randy Jr. picked a prize when he found you.

My dear Kristi all I can say is I second what Jacquie said and what Uncle Scott said.
We love you so much and Levi sends you a kiss. That always helps me feel better.

That's what I'm counting on! I just feel....tired. Tired of all the stupid things people do to themselves and to their loved ones. Hatred can be so violent, especially when it's directed at your self, but it's ultimately directed at your loved ones. I'm not talking just about suicide, I'm also talking about self destruction. I know that God is opening my eyes and humbling me as I work this rotation in the psych hospital. He's using people in the hospital and in my own personal life to give me a well-rounded lesson (you're right, MaMaJ!). There are so many people hurting in this world, and the enemy is out to make us hurt.
Life is Good. Everytime I say that, something else happens but you know what? I know God has the control over whatever situations he has put in my life, even when I'm in a supporting role. I've just learned enough in the past 1 1/2 weeks to last me for quite a while, and that's why I just ask God to give me strength. Thanks for being there for me and praying for me too! :-)
