Lesson for the Day

It takes approximately 5 seconds for the interior of your car to be saturated with olive oil. Furthermore, it takes approximately one roll of paper towels, 5 regular terry towels, 3 old ripped-up hanes t-shirts, 2 swear words (oops), 3 hours of upholstery detailing, 2 run throughs with a wet/dry vac, and $45 to erase that first 5 seconds.
Any questions?

How'd it happen?

I would love to blame it on Randy. So I will. It was Randy's fault. He shouldn't have moved out of the front seat. If he would've stayed there, the oil would've gotten all over him and then I could've just stuck him in the shower. That would've been free (water's paid for) and much less hassle. And I wouldn't have cussed (he might've though).

Oh yeah, to answer your question, Nate: the olive oil bottle cracked in the heat without me knowing it and when I picked it up out of my back seat and brought it over the front passenger seat, I heard it "gunking" out of the bottle.

Just think how luxuriously soft your car seats will be... not to mention the benefits of olive oil for the skin ... of your car??? Hmmm... unless you have leather seats, I doubt this applies. For you, it probably just stinks! Literally. Sorry my friend.

that's for the lesson. in return, i will share my own lesson learned about six and a half years ago:

if you're holding a 44oz paper cup of soda between your legs and are rear ended, the entire contents of the cup become a fine mist which applies itself to most of your car's interior, as well as the inside of your cd player, behind the clear plastic in front of your speedometer, in your vents, and on your lady friend whom you haven't been dating very long. but don't worry, one day you'll marry her.

Soda would be bad too. How'd it get BEHIND the clear speedometer cover? That was some crooked soda you had there, dr.

Bugg- Did it smell?

It didn't smell too badly. Atleast it wasn't like vinegar or something else really odiferous.

that's just how finely the soda mistafied.
